I’ve visited several QNX software repositories and downloaded (and presumably installed) many pkgs. However, I don’t see where these pkgs should show up in the GUI and have not been able to access them.
How should this work?

To install a packgage from a shell
RTP6.1 : pkg-installer -u filename
RTP 6.2 : qnxinstall filename
If you download your packages thru Voyager the installer will be spawned on the file when it is downloaded.
Most Unix port gets installed to /opt/*
Abiword and Workspace gets installed in /usr/photon/bin
