I have just installed Qnx 6.2.1 PE on a new (x86)machine but no audio device has been found.
The machine has an Intel soundcard integrated into the motherboard and the pci -v output (summary) is below:
Class = Multimedia (Audio)
Vendor ID = 8086h, Intel Corporation
Device ID = 24d5h, Unknown Unknown
PCI index = 0h
…
In the QNX supported hardware list I have seen that the i8x0 driver should support the Intel models although a device id of 0x24c5h appears (mine is 0x24d5).
I have started the io-audio driver with:
(i) io-audio -d i8x0 [pci=0x00] &
(ii)io-audio -d i8x0 &
and other slight variations (using vid/did) but to no avail.
Can somebody please let me know where I am going wrong?! I assume it is something small that I am missing.
