I have looked around in newsgroups and haven’t seen a definate answer to what happened to nfsd and portmap in QNX 6.2 NC. Does anyone know of why they are not included or where they might be?
If you search qdn newsgroups, you will see some related discussions. such as this:

there are other stuff that QSS decided to pull out of NC version. snmp, bind/named, to name a few. Some of the missing stuff can probably be ported by yourself. I guess QSS just tries to make it hard for you to use QNX NC as a server platform.
