Running a script on shutdown.

Hi,
Just a quickie; when I shutdown my system, the shutdown process freezes on either stopping enum-pccard or inetd, this means I have to shutdown uncleanly by just turning it off. This seems to be down to my wireless card, and if I slay io-net before shutdown, it shuts down fine. Where can i put a script to do this automagically?

Thanks

Garry

“shutdown” is a binary program, so you’d have to do your slaying before that is run. You may be able to alter shelf/pwm scripts to perform both operations.

I’m not sure what you can get away with modifying here but /usr/photon/config/wm/wm.menu contains the command “phshutdown” that I guess you could replace with you own script that kills off io-net then runs phshutdown.

I see… thanks.
