QNX 6.3.0 & io media

I have install the 6.3.0 version on my Pc.
The configuration is :

  • P II 350
  • 327 Mo sdram
  • mother broad type 440 bx
  • IWILL ATA 100 controller card ( for my HD of 40 Go not recognised nativly by my mother broad, where i have others os like windows 2k pro and a 15 Go partition for my Data )
  • my old 4.3 Go HD on the primary ide ata 66 nape.

with the 6.3.0 version i have had firstly no recognition of the IWILL ata 100 controller, and then no more access on the 15 Go partition.
But from litle time i have this message during the boot sequence :
"
Press space bar to input boot options or D to disable DMA
Detected EIDE. scanning for divice
…
unable to start “io media” : no such file or directorie
mount : can’t mount / (type “io media” )
mount : possible reason : no such devices or address
starting extra run commands

Well the final result is that i still not have any access to my 15 Go partition on my 40 Go HD.

If any one have any ideas obout my trouble and the solution to give.

My IWILL ATA 100 controller card play the same role of any scsi controller card. So my first idea would to make understand to qnx to recognize the IWILL card as an scsi controller, but i don’t know how to do.

Well the less i can say is that my problem doesn’t inspire any answer.
I have recently tested other boot configuration.
first of all my 40 Go HD on the IWILL card (equal to any scsi controller card), is in an extractible box, so i have tried to disconnect the extractible tirroir from the box; but nothing changed.
i still have this message during the boot sequence :

I have also disconnected the USB “peripherique”, that’s to know

  • Bewan adsl usb modem
  • & an usb cable to an external CD BURNER.

BUT i still have the same boot sequence message.

So MY main problem is to know how to make recognize my IWILL ata 100 controller card to have access to my 15 Go disk partition on my 40 Go, and at the end, how could i install my modem to have access tp the net from QNX ( but realy at the end ).
Maybe my inglish spoken is totaly Pitiful, and Incomprehensible; but please post me an answer :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:
