Apache and corrupted file system...

Is there any command/utility for QNX like fsck?

A power surge hit my house earlier and while it didn’t affect my Solaris or WinXP machinesmy QNX machine rebooted and now when trying to run Apachectl, I get the following error:

fopen: Corrupted file system detected
httpd: could not open error log file /var/log/error_log.
/usr/sbin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started

Is there any such command to useto try and recover from this or do I have to reinstall? I really don’t want to do that because its a pain getting all the files I need back and my internet has been spazzing lately (took me over 2 hours earlier to DL a 1.8MB file…)

Thanks.

Yep, as root run /sbin/chkfsys / then restart apache.

Also look at /usr/help/product/neutrino_2.11_en/utilities/c/chkfsys.html for detailed info.

Cheers.

Thank you! Google and the QNX help files were pretty much useless and I was afraid I was going to have to reinstall. You’ve saved me quite a bit of trouble.
Thanks!

For what it’s worth, the Neutrino User’s Guide (available in 6.3) lists some common UNIX and DOS commands with their Neutrino equivalents. This list includes fsck.
