It’s hard to get accurate, up-to-date info on the status of eQip (it’s not surprising that the sourceforge page is sketchy, and the eqip.openqnx.com pages are behind: considering how much other stuff I see Chris doing), and what eQip-based projects (if any) people are doing.
Would it make sense to set up a forum section for it?
