Hi, I’m new to QNX – I just got the QNX demo that fits on a 1.44Mb floppy.
Alrighty, I’m wondering if the full QNX can support X-Windows WMs and
Desktops? Is there a terminal in the full QNX with some standard shell
interfaces(tcsh, bash, zsh)? Can Linux programs be ran in QNX?

Not directly but XFree86 is available for QNX4.

The standard is ksh, but you can get bash and other type of shell
Can Linux programs be ran in QNX?
No, but they can be ported.
Note that QSSL (maker of QNX4) also makes Neutrino. Neutrion (QRTP)
still in early Beta and not yet widely available, can run X-Application in
it
own environmnent through it’s own server.
It can also run Linux application.
And porting Linux application is much much more easier then with QNX4.

X-Windows - Yes
WMs - What is this?
Desktops - Do you mean it runs on Desktop computers? Yes

Yes. It comes with ksh, but there is a port of bash.
Can Linux programs be ran in QNX?
Some linux programs can be recompiled to run in QNX.
The newer Neutrino 2.0 that is not yet release to the
public is supposed to run Linux Binaries directly.
