Hi,
I used Dosfsys to access FAT16 drives for a long while. Recently,
I rebuilt my PC to ultra-wide SCSI and updated to QNX 4.25. Now
my Dosfsys driver no longer seems to work. I used to just type
Dosfsys & and my drives would roll on out to be used. Now, when I type
Dosfsys &, it claims no drives found. I am used to my base drive being
called
/dev/hd0, but now in 4.25, is is called /dev/hd1.0. When I look in dev, I do
see
/dev/hd1.0t6, which is my FAT-16 partition. I now type
Dosfsys c=/dev/hd1.0t6 & and it replies that /dos/c is created. When I try
to
access it, Dosfsys halts, with something like SIGFPE, and says something
about
bad directory, and floating point error. Also, I have not had any luck with
the
ext2utils against my Linux partitions either. Any ideas? Are these utilities
too old
for 4.25?
Thanks
Tom
Get the 4.25D Patch. There is a new program to handle fat partition.
