I’d like to know if it’s possible to boot faster than QNX4 boots
now.
And I’d like to know if there’s any support for a quick boot,
when a system is powered down by mistake or if there’s a
blackout. Is there any way to quick boot to the state QNX4 was
before the power down (like a suspend in notebooks)?
Thanks!

QNX4 can boot VERY fast. I’ve seen boot times of <1sec on embedded
hardware. Typically the BIOS is responsible for long/slow boot times.

I think this tends to primarily be a hardware feature, that requires
some OS support, but is predominately a hardware feature.

Camz.
