disktrap in boot image?

Hi,

I am looking for a way to build an OS image to boot from a SCSI controller without knowing in advance what type of controller is installed. All of my previous systems used an Adaptec 2940UW which is not available any more. Until (if) QNX decides to support the newest adaptec controller, I want an image which can work with the older controller, plus other brands, also. Does anyone know how to do this.

Thanks,

I THINK it can be done by just starting multiple driver (pick the one you
will support)
in the image

i would put some ‘pci’ output analizing code in startup script and put it
into image.
when you boot you could start the driver which you need from image. Of
course you will
have to put all drivers there. =(
