Nutrino and Java 1.3

Does anybody if there is a JVM that runs on Nutrino and Java1.3
compliant?

Not sure what you mean here. If you are referring to Sun Java 1.3,
that product is still an implementation of the Java 2 specification.
The differences reside entirely in the implementation.

There is no implementation of the Java 2 platform. We are preparing
our beta of Sun PersonalJava 3.1 – which complies with the PersonalJava
1.2 specification – a subset of Java 2 Standard Edition. (Yes it’s
coming, but there are resource conflicts, so be patient – everybody
wants RTP and nothing goes out without docs). IBM J9 is also available
and AFAIK is close to a complete implementation of PersonalJava 1.2, but
isn’t a formally validated implementation.

Is there any reason why you couldn’t port kaffe as an alternative as well, just
some tweaking of the source.
