RtP Question

I downloaded the ISO image and burned it last night, installed it on an
empty parition.

First question, how in the world do you increase mouse speed?! Even a link
that would lead me to the explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Second question, it recognized my 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 AGP card as a Banshee
card. Is this correct?

Finally, tried getting packages from QNX, and the download was crawling at 1
to 2 kbps… this is due to everyone downloading QNX, right…?

Thanks for any answers!

Luckily, I noticed that they had put the web site up last night, and got my
download before the avalanche of downloaders joined in!

apparently we killed tucows, they weren’t prepared for the volume of d/ls
and we have hit 90Mb/sec on the server farm ( all this was from cafe chat
at lunch)

First question, how in the world do you increase mouse speed?! Even a
link
that would lead me to the explanation would be greatly appreciated.

I’d like to know that one too.

Second question, it recognized my 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 AGP card as a Banshee
card. Is this correct?

Same with my Voodoo3 2000 PCI ?!?!

Finally, tried getting packages from QNX, and the download was crawling at

I downloaded QNX this afternoon and it was going at about 3k on a 56k modem.

Thanks for any answers!

I have the same beef. The mouse is too sluggish. I wouldn’t worry
about the driver name though. My card was detected as a TNT and I have
a GeForce, and everything is cool.

the voodoo3 uses the banshee driver, even under windows it was useing the
same driver up to like driver version 1.04? I think

From Benews covering the RTP Release:

my mouse’s scroll wheel working, and the ability to easily configure
hardware via a GUI interface (I asked QNX on their newsboards again
about a GUI tool to configure mouse cursor speed, and again within a
half hour a QNX person told me they were currently working on it).

Actually, we just finished a mouse preferences panel. We’ll probably
have the update package on the repository tomorrow. You’ll be able to
get it via. the package manager.

Very cool, thanks!

It’s amazing the responsiveness of QNX–I’m really impressed!
