I want to install QNX RTOS as the only OS on an old laptop with no CD/ROM.
I have a 10BaseT SMC E-net card in a docking station and would love to
install it over the network like I did Linux. Does anyone know how to do
this?

You have to download the OS disks image file (ftp.qnx.com), make the 6 disks
and install the OS. Install then the TCP/IP package and you’ll be able to run
the network and add photon, voyager…
I’m currently using QNX 4.25 with photon, tcp/ip, voyager, WatcomC/C++ on my
IBM Thinkpad 755 (486 DX2/50, 12MB RAM, 340MB disk, 3c589 PCMCIA ethernet
network card)
There is a driver for the 3c589 pcmcia ethernet card on QNX 4.25, not for the
Real Time Platform. WHY ?
