Geting on the internet

In network CFG i don’t se the device, does this mean QNX hasn’t detected my
network adapter…if so how do I get it to do so…I have a 3Com Etherlink 3
isa adapter

hi,

first slay the io-net driver:

#slay io-net

then restart it passing it the name of the driver you want:

#io-net -pttcpip -del509 (or -del900 if you
card is 90x series)

there are other options you can pass to the driver too, like ip addresses
etc; they’re listed in the helpviewer under io-net.

OK, this is correct for a network adapter. But what if I am using a modem
and it is using com3 port ?
