post installation troubles

Hi

I downloaded the ISO, burnt it, and then installed it onto a pre existing
FAT 32 partition.

I reboot using both QNX and DMA disabled modes with no luck! I keep getting
held up when qnx says error find a package file and unable to load it…i
have tried several differnet booting options in the spacebar menu but none
of them will let me get past this. Someone else must be having this same
problem?!??! i just installed it twice and cannot get past this point!

thanks

brandon

Do you have the EZ-BIOS overlay installed? I had what sounded like the same
problem, and removed EZ-BIOS from my HD which corrected the prob.

If you don’t, then sorry, I have no other suggestions.

I have had this problem too… In our case it turned out that we had not
burned the CD correctly…
It appears that you need to use the “DIsk at Once” method, and close off the
CD.
(The one we tried that did not work, used multi-session, with several
sessions recorded, and the disk was not “closed off” )
When we burned it simply as “Disk at Once” from the .iso file, it started
working properly.
There are other possibilities - there have been a number of threads in the
QNX newsgroups regarding this type of thing.
Some were related to using the 2nd HD, some to SCSI HDs, some to…
You probably need to read some threads to pick up some hints…
