New to QNX

I have email QNX and posted a question to this news group, and have not
recieved any response.

I would like to know if QNX can act as a packet firewall and do NAT or IP
Masquerading.

Can QNX run under vmware with Linux as a host OS

IS there a list of known exploits for QNX?

No. I tried this and QNX just crashes inside the vmware. I’m not sure
about the new
vmware release but you could check their website or send them an email
saying you want
them to support QNX because I know I would buy a copy if they did…:slight_smile:

Exploits?? Like hacks into the kernel or really cool apps or what???

their CPE platform Baypoint owned by Mitel use QNX as their OS. Very
reliable

ok, i just finished the download
i burnt it to a cd
then, i realized, no windows…

If have a bootable CD-Rom you don’t required Windows.

so, i installed windows, installed qrtp, its very good, very good indeed
now, is there a linux/unix based install iso?

There will be one in the upcomming patch A.

and also, how do i migrate bash and all my bash configs to qrtp?
