Hi all,
Quick CRON question… I su to root and start cron from the command line. Then, under my regular user account, I try to install a cron entry using crontab:
crontab mycron
which results in an error saying that cron terminated abnormally
However, when I su to root and execute:
crontab -u vorpal mycron
everything works fine.
/usr/spool/cron/crontabs is world-writeable, and i have a file /usr/spool/cron/cron.allow which has:
vorpal
as its only entry.
Any ideas?
