Hey all,
Anyone else having problems with Patch A?
I have an HP Laserjet 4L printer. In the initial release of QNX RtP, my
printer was detected, but when I tried to print in Photon, instead of
printing what I requested, my printer would spit out blank sheets.
However, after I installed Patch A, my printer stopped being detected
period. 
Also, for some reason now, the emacs port generates an āerror 11ā and
aborts.
Any ideas?

Well, when I go into the QNX package manager, thereās a LOT of patches
listed (for everything from Python, to Perl, to Drivers, to Photon,
etcā¦ etcā¦). I have installed all of them and they have caused many
problems (although a lot of the little quirky photon bugs were fixed,
which was nice).

Patch A is still being put togetherā¦I donāt know how you got it unless your
in the non-public beta group. If you are a part of this group then post your
problems in the appropriate news group.
