Dual Head Cards ?

This is a kind of FAQ:

as we currently cannot get Vodoo 3 3000 PCI any more are there any other PCI
soulutions ?
Or an AGP solution for up to 4 Monitors per PC ?

Does Matrox G200 G400 or G450 work properly some time ago we had problems
setting refreshrate on matrox cards…

I could not find out if the new colorgraphics is supported by qnx
support.qnx.com says S3 Savage 4 chipset is in beta for neutrino but we
would need it for qnx4.

BTW: how do I access news.qnx.com it does not like my username and password
(working with the rest download and so on)

Any Hints welcome,
Stefan

I just installed a Voodoo 3 3500 AGP card in a Neutrino
machine. It seemed to work the same as the 3000 cards
I’ve been using with the Banshee driver. There is a
downside. It came with a TV device attached. It also
has a large strange cable that divides to both an RGB
connection, and some RCA jack TV in/outputs. Lastly,
the Chop Shop people I dealt with insisted that I put
in a Slot fan to keep it cool. The Slot fan takes up
two additional slots, so you would have trouble getting
more than one of these in a machine. I don’t know if
the fan is really needed, or there isn’t another way to
provide it.

You don’t need the slot fan for the 3500, I have been running mine for
almost a year solid without any problems.
