QNX 4 with MicroTouch Screen

I am trying to get a Microtouch screen configured with QNX 4.

Under DOS I would use the Microtouch supplied ‘microcal’ program to
cablibrate the touch screen and configure the data protocol and the baud
rate. In DOS there are 12 data protocols to choose from.

QNX does not seem to have a similar program and their online help is
unhelpful.

To get around the lack of QNX information, in DOS I configured my
Microtouch screen one at a time for each of the 12 data protocols. I
then switched to QNX 4 and then tried to start up the Microtouch drive
using:

input microtch -b 9600 uart &

and input microtch -b 9600 fd &

All attempts have failed. Has anyone ever got a Microtouch screen
working in QNX 4? I do not believe QNX has.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mary…

Mary, we have used Microtouch screen under QNX 4, but with QNX Windows
GUI (not Photon; it is not clear what GUI you have dealt with). For
this we had to write own calibration utility, but it’s working well.
