ssh for QNX/RTP

Hi,

Has anybody had any luck in porting SSH for QNX/RTP? I tried
with both SSH-2.3.0p1 and SSH-2.4.0, I could get them to compile, but
they wouldn’t run correctly.
SSH-2.3.0p1 cannot generate enough entropy for the random
numbers (anyway to get a /dev/random device on QNX/RTP?). The usual
workarounds (e.g. the Entropy Generating Daemon) do not work either.

SSH-2.4.0 was able to run, however not reliably, it would stop
working for no apparent reason, and the connecting through the daemon
generated all sorts of invalid characters.

Any info about this is welcomed.

I believe Chris McKillop here at QNX was working on a port:

Cool! It worked right out the bat, thanks!

wow. i was trying to build openssh myself, when i discovered this here
newsgroup. i did tar xfz openssh.tar.gz like it said on the web page.
it’s almost working. i connect, then after i enter my password, i’m
disconneted with setsockopt SO_KEEPALIVE: Operation not permitted. is
there anything else i need to do?

this seems to be related to my problems compiling. i was getting errors
about bsd sockets.

The SO_KEEPALIVE is just not supported in the “tiny” stack. Not a big
deal, but if you don’t have any activity on the channel it will get closed.

PS - I hope to have all of those (relavent) archives done up as Packages
by the end of the weekend. I will make a posting here about it.
