multi boot implications?

I am interested in trying qnx within windows before deciding whether to
allocate it its own partition.
Once installed within windows does qnx work in a similar way to BeoS 5 pe
which gives you the option to create and use a boot floppy to load it ?
I currently run a multi boot system via Boot Magic . I am wary about
introducing anything with its own boot loader chomping at the bit ready to
take over : )
TIA,
John

When you load RTP onto Windows is does not take over the boot
loader. Instead it utilizes the multiboot feature of windows.
You get a short menu at startup which lets you choose whether
to boot QNX or Windows. I’ve heard that this only works properly
under Win/95 and Win/98se. Not 98me Win2000 or NT.

It’s also very easy to get rid of. An uninstall program is provided
for use under Windows, and in reality there are only a small number
of files loaded.
