network browsing

I am a newbie, obviously, to QNX. I have installed it on one of my network
pc’s and have no problem with internet access through my proxy, I can access
email, download from both http and ftp and have managed to install Samba.
What I cannot do- or find- is a program that will allow me to access network
resources on my Windows (NT Domain) network. I cannot find any information
on how to do this with QNX or Samba: anyone have any ideas?

http://us1.samba.org/samba/docs/FAQ/

maybe this can help ?

also look at SMBfsys docs if you use qnx4.

Doug,

If you are running RTP the program to use is fs-cifs.

Type “use fs-cifs” or have a look in the help under “Utilities Reference” to
get an explanation of how to use that program.

Thanks! fs-cifs works fine: I wrote a script to mount network shares on boot
up and now am set for networking.
