libglib-1.2.so.0 - help?

Hallo,
I tried to install the midnight-commander, and if I start mc, I got an error
message (you need the following library: libglib-1.2.so.0).

Where can I find it and how to install it?

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps if you point your Package manager to http://www.nexwarecorp.com/repository - I think I saw gtk 1.2.8 and glib 1.2.8 there together with libIDL 0.6.8

Hope this helps,
Ognen

Thank you very much - I found these libraries and installed them. Now they

are located in /usr/local/lib (the right place, if the documentation is
correct), libglib-1.2.so.0 inclusive.

but - unfortunatly - midnight commander still gives the answer
“… can’t find libglib-1.2.so.0”

What went wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Michael

get new version of Midnight Commander 4.5.51-x86-static at
ftp://ftp.qnx.org.ru/pub/repository
