ATI Rage Mobility AGP

Hi.

Does the ATI Rage Mobility AGP work with QNX 4 / Photon 1.14?

We have a client’s DELL Latitude here, which can’t switch modes. I think
it’s working in VGA/SVGA mode, which is not acceptable. We need the extra
speed of the accelerated card for the DAS displays.

show_pci only lists an ATI VGA card.

TIA,

Augie

The Dell Inspiron does have the same ATI Rage Mobility (although
there a different flavor of it,works for me)

Ohhh…Photon, Photon.
Can you imagine we still use QNX-Windows. And we are tired to search
scitech-compatible video-cards for it :frowning:((
One video chip (from ATI for example) on Dell PowerEdge is working fine.
But…on Latitude - “Unable to set video mode” or “Unable to create
database”…:frowning:((. But we LOVE QNX4 too much to stop work with IT.

I have a Sony PCGZ505-LS with the same problem. NTO works great, 4.25 no luck.

I also have a DELL Inspiron 5000 with the ATI Rage Mobility, which is
working great. We can’t get the DELL 5000 anymore, so the only choice was
the DELL 8000 and DELL Latitude. Is there any chance someone from QSSL can
take a look at this and propose a solution?

Can we have an updated driver to support these video cards, please? This is
most important. I think there is a large interest in having updated video
support for QNX 4. Please keep up the good work .

TIA
