Mozilla for QNX?

Hello, I’ve just entered the wonderful world of QNX and am quite pleased
with the OS.

I’m a web designer though… and Voyager just doesn’t cut it… is there a
Mozilla port to QNX Photon2?

thanks,
Dwight Brown

Currently no.

It’s a little more complicated. There was a port of Mozilla
distributed with the first RTP release, which was only to
participants in the last QNX conference. It apparently didn’t
work very well. It is no longer distributed, but there is a
rumor that a second better port is under way. I also email’d
someone at “Opera” who reported that a general release of a
QNX version was a couple of months off.

Actually, you are both kinda wrong. Full QNX/Photon support is
in the head branch of the main Mozilla project and has been for
some time now. Has QNX made an official binary release in a
while? No.

The magic question is "Does QNX plan to make a offcial, or even
semi-official, release of Mozilla availlable anytime soon?

Dunno. It was opened to a set of closed beta testers a while back.
I assume it will pop it’s head up RSN.
