You just run it (assuming that is the correct driver).

/sbin/deva-audiopci &

/sbin/deva-audiopci &

that sounds easy. thanks!

sorry, i said “it sounds easy”… not easy enough for me. :frowning:
i startet qnx rtp and opened the terminal to enter “/sbin/deva-audiopci”
(how i read it on http://qdn.qnx.com/support/hardware/platform/audio.html#1)
no reply… then i started “audio mixer” from the bar on the right side…
by clickin’ on “mixer” i saw an entry named “ensoniq audiopci (es1371)” -
that’s my audio-card, i think…
but when i run the “photon media player” and select an mp3 from “/fs/cd1/”,
i can’t hear any sound. (it doesn’t change, if i click on the play-button
g)

can you explain it again for me, the most stupid person in the world?
thanks

All setting’s in the mixer are to here sound.
Maybe there is a “mute” somewhere or
the sound level is not very loud.

 Now, is there any chance it was already running before? If you run
“pidin ar | grep deva” do you see anything dangling around in the process
list that shouldn’t be there?
