QNX & AMD SC400

I am looking to use QNX with the AMD SC400 IC. I would like to buy the
SC400 solution in a 1U rack mount form with the Super IO interface but to
date have only found the AMD development unit.

Does any one know who sells a complete solution and for how much? If not
are there other solutions out there (must have watchdog capabilities)

Thanks in advance
Colin

I doubt you will find an SC400 solution in a 1U rack mount form factor.
The SC400 is a 486 class chip, and is common for embedded SBCs, but most
1U rackmount equipment is actually in the server classification and
typically will be celeron, or P3 and up CPUs. A 1U rack just isn’t
really considered a typical embedded scenario (even though the apps you
run on such a unit could well fall into that category).

With that in mind, check out Arcom Controls http://www.arcomcontrols.com
they have a nice SBC based on the SC400 (I’ve used it). It isn’t in a
1U case though.

Camz.
