we want to write Arabic with the QNX system. On the QNX website I found an
article in which is described a solution to use the “text extension”
mechanism from the QNX Windows system. I want to know more about the text
extension mechanesm. How can it be used?

FYI, QNX Windows is a different product then Photon, the most recent
GUI from QNX.

There is a document which describes extensions in quite a bit of detail
which I can send you. I’m not personally familiar with implementing Arabic
text-handling. Have you tried contacting Cygnus?
