Jason and Joe

Look, this is the first time that I have ever cross posted a message. So
for you internet police and purists, I have three words for you: “get over
it”, I have something to say, and I don’t want it to get missed.

QNX has top-notch people working for them. I was in a major bind, and Jason
and Joe came through for me and got me straightened out. Not only do you
have a great product, but you’ve got the best people there too.

I can’t thank you guys enough. QSSL is a great company. Thanks for
everything.

Hello Kevin,

I must explain my views (I’m not sure if I’m the one that complains
about cross posting in your case, but since I often do I’ll assume this
comment is targeted at me).

If you cross posted in comp.os.qnx and qnd.public then I don’t
consider this cross posting. If that was the case it was a mistake
on my part.

I come here every day, trying to help people out. I spend a great
deal of time reading and replying to messages. There are some
question I don’t answer because I got to draw a line somewhere.
Answering a question that was already answer in another conference
means there will be one less post answered for someone else.

This is not about being an “internet police or purist”, this is
about trying to make the life of the people that answer your
questions (for free I might add ) as easy and as efficient as possible.

Don’t worry about being missed. Most active people here read all
conferences. If everybody wanted to be sure they don’t get missed
and cross post all over the place the thing would become a real
nightmare. In general cross posting is totally unnecessary.

That may be the first time you cross post, but I already spend
enough time answering question, I don’t really feel like
keeping a database of cross posters.

I understand your point, I’m just presenting mine

Cheers
