Resource Manager Simple Issue?

Hey guys.

I’m looking to deploy a resource manager on my QNX Neutrino 6.3, using C language. on calling resmgr_attach(), I get an error (return -1), and the error code is 1, which stands for “Operation not permitted”. It does not matter what path I’m giving this system call, the outcome remains the same. Apparently there are no permission issues, but I’m not sure.
Any ideas? Any clues?

From the help docs:

Caveats:
If your application calls this function, it must run as root.
