QNX RTP 6.2 released yet?

I can’t seem to find things with the rearrangement of the site, and there was (is)
no listed news item. But on the download page it mentions 6.2 as the current version.

So has 6.2 ben released yet? I would like to know before having to fill out that
annoying form again. :slight_smile:

What are the new features & bug fixes? Is there a changelog someone can

The way I see it Momentic is a very generic term.

As a matter of fact I think QSSL wants QNX6.2, the
OS, to be called Neutrino.

Now that I got the hang of the names a few months ago, it’s
being changed again. I don’t care, I’m a very flexible guy :wink:
Last think I’ll do is raise my blood pressure over some product
names!

Hello All-

English is not my origin, but I guess it means Strength. According to my
understanding of the way QSS guys thinks, ‘Momentics’ nominally comes from
Momentum. The reason that they don’t use ‘Momentum’ instead of ‘Momentics’
is just to pretend cool–“Momentics” sounds like something from the mouth of
Aristotlian or Scorates of Greeks.

I beleive the reason is one of Trademark. It’s much easier to trademark
a word you invented then one that already exists. Reduces the likelyhood
of being sued :wink:

Who knows, maybe all the good words have already been
trademarked. It would be interesting to see the list the of
trademarks from both VX and M$. I think somewhere here someone
posted a list of trademarks owned by CocaCola, and it was was
impressively long.

I’ve always wanted to copyright the alphabet. No ones done it before. And
that way if anyone uses any of my letters in their words I could sue them.

There are release notes – honestly, I’m not sure where they are on the
website right now, but I know where they will be early next week. :slight_smile: I’m
spending some time reorganizing the site and trying to standardize where
things are, such as release notes. Until I have a specific Product Release
Notes page, you’ll be able to find them on the free downloads section:
