Installer question

I’ve just installed the downloadable version of 6.2. The installer is willing
to look at my CD-ROM only. How do I get it to look at the on-line respository at
QNX, or is that not an option with this version?

The “new” installer is currently only for local repositories. You can
fire up the old one and access online repositories. However, I would
just recommend downloading the “3rd Party” CDROM from QDN and either
mounting the CD or burning it since it has tons of stuff you normally
would download from web repositories.

Is the old installer included with 6.2? If not, does this mean on-line
updates have been phased out?

It is included. And no, not phased out, just not phased into the new
qnxinstall application.
