Is it possible, I\m now struggling with windows (too big, gives little).

Sure, I have had no problems on several Tecra (510 series) and Satellite
models. Watch out for graphic chipset incompatibilities on most of the
newer Toshiba’s though. You might be able to use the standard VGA modes
only.
