Yes, you can use NFS or you can use Samba.
For QNX6 samba is available on the 3rd party CD.
For QNX4 you can grab it on QNX’s FTP site.
NFS server comes with QNX4 TCP/IP and QNX6 SE/PE (not NC)

Thanks for your reply. Is there any Instructions on how to do this? Is QNX
very different from RedHat or any other Linux OS?

Shane

For the purposes of using Samba, QNX is very similar to Linux;
architecturally, however, QNX is very different. QNX also
supports many more of the Posix standards than Linux does
(for instance, almost all of the real-time standards - which
Linux doesn’t support).
Thanks for your reply. Where could I get Samba from and how-to Install it?
I’m more a Microsoft person but we have a security system which runs on a
QNX system. I’m hoping to be able to open some of the software files
remotely. Any help would be appreciated.

Shane
