Joystick Driver

Hi,
I’ve done a quick web and qnx site search and can’t seem to find any type of
documented joystick support. Does it exist? I’m basically looking for a
driver that will let me receive commands from a simple joystick (that I can
pick). It only needs to have left/right forward/back feedback, and perhaps a
trigger. Anything exist? Thanks,

I don’t know of one. I don’t even remember any mention of someone doing
one.

Sorry.

The now nonexistent qnxstart.com had it; URL was

I haven’t saved it. Ask someone else who did

Long, long ago, in a place far away, we commissioned someone to write a
joystick driver.

He did and it worked. But apparently it had to poll the joystick and
measure some RC time factor or something like that. We eventually trashed
the project. We couldn’t afford high priority polling in our otherwise
real-time system.

Try this. Look for the joystick driver on the page. I’ve not used it, don’t
know anything about it but it may help you.
