Wireless Lan 802.11b from Yakumo

does anybody know whether QNX 4.25 or QNX 6.2.0NC supports a wlan access
point “askey RTW020 AP”, or at least which protocoll they are using in
terms of tcpip? ps: they are marketing under Yakumo brand

Confusing question. There is nothing special an 802.11 client (ie:a
box running QNX with an 802.11 card) needs to do to talk to a an access
point. The only thing to worry about is if this AP has a mode where
it uses a custom form of encryption. But generally they don’t.

tnx - sounds good, I think I can do something with snmp under QNX 4 or
even QNX 6.
Config is:
one PC with a normal NE2000 compatible NIC under QNX 4 linked to the
WLAN Access Point of Askey’s.
should be rather trivial
however:
It is still under work.
