When I run the command “netsniff” on my machine, the network stops working
for a while.
Anybody have an idea why?
Thank you for your help

I have not had any problems with netsniff on QNX4.
When you say “The network stops working” how do you preceive that?
Is there a network problem on hosts other than the one running netsniff?

When netsniff is working, QNX can still send some packets (we can see
ethernet arp request), but apparently the network card/driver/manager do not
take up the packet (we can see ethernet arp reply going to the QNX machine,
but QNX seems to ignore it : no arp entry).
So i would say : sending ok, receiving nok.
Any idea ?
