bonjour…

as most of people , my knowledge of computer features is based on the
windauze standard, i have installed the QNX neutrino 6.2 but i have
problems with the cd player ; Qnx can not find my cd player, the Qnx os
is too new for me so help me please to get started with this interacticve
os : how could i configure my cd player into the Qnx systeme ??..thanks

Have a look in /fs to see if there are cd0 or cd1 entries. If these entries
exists you can configure the cdplayer on one of these entries.

Ok , the cd0 and cd1 do existe, but my question is still alive : how to
configure my cd player in one of these entries ?? …thanks

PS: à Hercot Jean-Yves . ça sera plus simple si vous m’aidiez en
“farnçais” , merci à vous…

Launch Qnx Media player and click on Preferences in the File menu. In the
general part you’ll see “CD mount point”. Fill that field with the path to
your cd rom drive that is connected to the sound card (cd0 or cd1 - it
depends on your computer). It should work after that…

Ps: I won’t reply in french on this newsgroup so everybody is able to
understand.
