CTRL-C and xterm

When I start xterm from the menu or from the shelf, ctrl-c does nothing.
When I start it from a pterm, it works as expected. I’d rather not start
from a pterm every time - what can I do?

Thanks,
Hans

it’s a bug in “shelf” or maybe in the qnx c lib.
we have the same problem with some windows managers on xfree86
(http://www.sf.net/projects/openqnx). other window managers
work fine. for those problem window managers, ctrl-c in xterm
won’t work if it is started from the “menu”. the problem only
happens for qnx and we have to work around it. …
If “shelf” is an open source application, we can probably do
the same thing?

Looks like I spoke too soon. Your problem is apparently fixed
in qnx 6.2.1. I just tried it with “xterm”. and ctrl-c works fine.
If you are already on 6.2.1, you might want to try the new
xfree86 4.3 from www.sf.net/projects/openqnx since that’s the
one I just tested.
good luck.

Hmm, it works now. Running 6.2.1, but not XFree86 4.3.
