SMB support on 4.22 TCP/IP

I’d like to add SMB support to a previously installed system
at revision level 4.22. The TCP/IP support at that time did
not include such utilities as SMBfsys and mount_smb. Can I
use those utilities from a later version with the older
Socket?

This is NOT supported, but nothing is stopping you from “trying” to use the
4.23 Socket on 4.22…
must also use the 4.23 Fsys, mount, mount_smb, user_smb
