I get a SIGSEGV whenever I start wd since some days. I think, I didn’t
change anything in the operating environment. The executable file is ok (I
can start it from another node).
The message is
//5/usr/watcom/10.6/bin/wd terminated (SIGSEGV) at XXXX:000048A7
Any suggestions?

You didn’t by anychance remove from your boot image Slib16 did you?
