chsum for Winblows

Hi all,

I often need to send out large files using ftp to our remote offices.
Occasionally, they don’t transfer properly. I am using QNX 4.25, they are
using WInblows (the poor suckers).

Is there a utility equivlent to the chsum utility that they can run on
Winblows to compare a cksum to a value that the QNX cksum can generate?

(I am aware that cksum can generate values using several different
algorithems. Any one is OK with me.)

maybe you could try grabbing the source from somewhere (linux,bsd,qnx6)
and port it? (these kind of algorithms should be able to be written
portably…)

There was a DOS cksum program on quics a little while back.

check on the web site under Support/Services → Contributed Software (search
for cksum)

I think the link is
