Radeon Mobility 9000IGP

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way to get the above listed graphics card to work? Currently vesa & vga are the only thing that are recognized (they work but not with the full resolution). I’m guessing this is because the 9000IGP just isn’t supported because its something entirely different.

You can try forcing/adding the vendor and device id in the enum database.

Hi,

That didn’t work - I tried adding a line with device id 5835 and got everything from crashes to wacky symbols on the screen.

Any other suggestions or is this just unsupported - I think this has to do with the fact that its an IGP card, which apparently means its integrated into the south bridge.

Have you tried the vesatweek driver from Evan Hillas? I find this to work great on my unsupported Nvidia laptop.
