Removing CD-ROM

Hi!

I needed to plug in a CD-ROM to install QNX/Photon. Now I need to remove
the CD-ROM and if I unplug it from the system the system hangs when it tries
to load that devide. What files should i edit to remove the entry to load
the CD-ROM?

Thanks!

Bill

Look in /etc/config/sysinit. for a file call Fsys.eide,

Hello again!

I assume removing that line from sysinit is enough?

Thanks!

Bill

Yes, you might as well remove the line with Iso9660fsys.

NO! Unless you have no ATA/EIDE drives in the system.

Mario was refering you to that line to remove any references
to the CDROM. That is definitly a place to look, but also
look for Iso9660fsys (you can remove this line).

Erick.
