Kind of TCP/IP Firewall for QNX 4.25?

Our problem: We want to prevent other unauthorized users on the net
having Phindows from getting access to our QNX-boxes. Now others can
easily ditto on the running system by using the Phindows option “-n1”.
We ourselves have to use Phindows, so phrelay has to be enabled.

Is there a way to allow only certain TCP/IP adresses to get access to
the QNX boxes?
Any other way to solve this?

Thanks for answers, Juergen

There’s an entry in the knowledge base about this, if memory
serves. Look for “phindows” and “security”. The short answer
is, Phindows itself has no security provisions. It depends on
whatever login security you have set up on the connection. See
the knowledge base entry for more details.
