I have a multinode qnx4 setup, and have been trying to get a pci
soundblaster working on it.
I’m not sure of the exact model soundcard, but its not a live!. Its the
basic one.
The node its on detects it in hardware, and shows that its getting
assigned irq 10.
deva-sb, deva-sblive, and audiograb all fail to find it.
Whats next to try?
Thanks.

Perhaps the correct newsgroup or at least the QNX 4 drivers.
The drivers you mentioned are RTP drivers (QNX RTOS v6.0.0). This
newsgroup is for QNX4 (older version of QNX).
If this is a RTP system, try the deva-audiopci driver. That may
work correctly for you.
Take care!
Erick.
Thanks.

Ok, I’m obviously confused about this. I thought
http://www.qnx.com/cgi-bin/print_des.cgi?/usr/free/qnx4/multimedia/ALSA2/+alsa-bin-qnx-0.2.tgz
was indicating that there are indeed alsa drivers for qnx4. Those are
what I have.
Also:
#uname -a
QNX 1 I 425 PCI 32
I read this as 4.25, and assumed drivers for “QNX 4” would work with that.

You are ok Aaron, hardware support obviously didn’t know about the stuff
release
for QNX4.
I also guess you know this isn’t supported…
