I’ve got a 2+ MB core dump from a gui application that I need
to debug with wd. The app was compiled/linked -g2d.
When I try to load the core dump into wd to debug it, wd dies
with a SEGV at E5:65B.
I’ve debugged core dumps before, but have never seen this.
Photon 1.14, QNX 4.25, watcom 10.6
Ideas?
does dmpinfo indicate that it is a valid core file produced?
you did the right thing by compiling and linking with the -g2d switch.
but as to why wd failed i do not know… if you can compress and upload the
dmp i could take a look.
