Watcom Compiler

We also have a Watcom C 9.5 - 4 node Network Expansion License. We have

installed this. The /.license file is not updated, but /etc/licenses
is. Can this four node expansion license be used for Watcom 10.? If so

how?
Thanks,

Larry

As far as I know, there is no difference between a 9.5
Watcom license, and a 10.6 license. 10.6 was just an
upgrade, not a new product.

During the installation of the OS via CD at the point where the licenses are
requested the Dec 99 kit will not acknowledge that the 9.5 C compiler license
diskette has a license on it. If I remember correctly the 9.5 compiler come
out before the changes in licensing where made. When you run the license
command from the prompt I believe that the 9.5 diskette installs the licenses
in /etc/licenses. While 10.6 installs its licenses in /.licenses. There are
two wcc licenses in /.licenses and there are four licenses in /etc/licenses.
Next, we do a license -r and then a licinfo -a. The wcc line shows wcc 2/2 1
2. That is not correct. But, from what I understand from the installation
manual those are the correct steps.

Have we missed something???

Thanks,

Larry
